CommentsThe screen area looks nice, it's got a great matt finish to it.
A few suggestions: The highlight on the base looks off, it gives it the appearance of being convex, rather than having a nice "L" curve to it. The shadow from the monitor would create more of a solid line to display the difference. Also, the highlight that is on the lip of the screen is a touch too strong. Keep in mind the highlight direction, and where a shadow would drop down from, and you should be set. Not trying to drill you, but when I see "advanced critique" I go for it. Art classes and all, beh! -- - Dan H. Blog Myspace Thanks for the advice. I was going to fix the stand, but when I made it I did it in a weird way, and I wasn't really going to sit around and spend half an hour trying to fix the gradient in a way that doesn't make it look stranger than it did before.

Cinema display?
-- Relax, I'm a professional Nice. I'm getting the syncmaster 226bw as soon as I can scrape together a couple more hundred dollars. Pretty similar to the one you've got, but with that silver strip on the bottom.
-- Relax, I'm a professional Good luck with that, I hope you get one that uses the S panel.
